I found another possiblity to create this error. Two different UserControls, used on the same page, that contained a ASP:Button declared with the same ID caused this error.

The older Button was declared like this:

<asp:Button ID="btn_sortieren" runat="server" meta:resourcekey="btn_sortierenResource1" />

The newer Button in the other UserControl was declared like this:

<asp:Button ID="btn_sortieren" Text="Sortieren" runat="server" />

Both UserControls are located in the same folder, but they are not referencing any other UserControl and they do not contain any UserControl.

Maybe the Use of Local Resources causes the problem, I did not test that.

I'm having problem to get your sample run under medium trust. The problem is an Security Exception in the Quantizer constructor. I believe the reason is the use of the Marchal class. On my hosting site this is not allowed. So i can't run your code in my asp.net hosting. Do you have an easy solution how to remove the use of the Marshal class in your solution?

Can see in the comments others have been having this problem.

Could not load file or assembly 'SubdomainModule.domain.SubdomainHandler' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. (F:\Chandru\SubdomainModule\web.config line 17)

The error occured. wat wil do?

My company has just released NB_Store an open source DNN Store module. We developed this in response to not being able to use the official DNN Store, because of it's lack of features. While it may not be the answer to every bodies needs it goes a long way to providing a usable customizable store.

These tools are great, but I found there were some inconsistencies when using regular expressions in native javascript across browsers. So, I wrote my own tester that runs javascript on the browser you're running it from... check it

out.

Feedburner died the day Google got their grubby hands on it. No support, nothing works properly and none of the pre-migration data is available. An absolute travesty in my book as google should have invested in it rather than covertly buying it just to essentially shut it down...

Brendan, thanks a lot for this info! While working on my current ASP.NET project, I had an ASCX that up to today was working great. The all of a sudden I was getting the "Circular reference" error and things wouldn't build.

I used the "batch=false" option in the web.config you mention here, and things started working! Thanks again!

I need to find a way to treat all subdomain urls coming into my domain as the actual path....

My controls and App Code folder are not being recognized when the url uis entered as a subdomain - any ideas>>>
