It's been a pretty good day here at TechEd 2006 in Boston. Last evening's keynote address was very well received and had some very humorous segments. If you get the chance you should download a copy from the VirtualTechEd site. There are a lot of cool podcasts available on this site including the one by Margaret Arakawa about Microsoft's new Forefront security products. I had the chance to meet Margaret yesterday at the Analyst Summit and bumped into her again today on my way to the convention center. She's a really neat person and was a lot of fun to talk with.
I stopped by the Connected Systems area and met up with some of the Commerce Server 2007 Program Managers and it was great seeing them again. They're getting real close to RTM and I could tell they are very excited about the new release.
I also grabbed a copy of the new CTP of the Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals (Team Data). I watched a live demo and this new tool-set is very impressive. I can't wait to get back to Houston and load it up!
I also got my SQL/BizTalk/Commerce Server podcast taped this afternoon and it should hit the VirtualTechEd site sometime Wednesday. I hope my gray hair didn't blind the camera man.
