Running through all the stuff I had brought home from the PDC I found a small disk : “Jeffrey Richter“. He's the author of the marvelous, must-read, “Applied MS .NET Framework Programming” book. On the disk is also a full epsiode of MSDN TV on C#. It is an issue of a couple of years ago with two interviews. The second one is with Jeffrey.
The surprise on the disk is the first interview. It's my hero Anders Hejlsberg trying to convince the community on this new C# language and this new .net stuff. Quite historical, but every word still counts. Two quotes : “beta coming soon” (that was 1.0) and “In a future we will have generics in C#” (that is 2.0). The episode is no longer on line which makes the disk a must-have.
