Continuous Integration Presentation

I have to apologize for not writing much these past few months.  My family and I had a very rough year so far and I’m just concentrating on spending time with my family and getting some home projects taken care of.  Expect me to be back in the swing of things come fall.

I’ll be presenting Continuous Integration to the Tulsa Developer’s Group this coming Monday, July 31st.  Details can be found here.  They ask that you RSVP at that link if you plan on attending.

This presentation session will cover Continuous Integration using CruiseControl.Net. In this session, we will do an entire walkthough on setting up a continuous integration server. Tools that will be provided and covered are Subversion, Tortoise, NDepend, FxCop, NCover, NUnit (from TestDriven.Net), NAnt and CruiseControl.Net. We will cover each tool, what it does, why it is important and finally tying it all together into an automated build and integration process. Bring your laptop and walk away with an integration server running by the end of the session, including all the tools listed. Because of a single, small issue with running one of the tools under framework 2.0, we will be targeting framework 1.1. All tools listed are available under BSD or GPL, and are freely distributable and free to use.

Mike,

I've been having problems with the latest version of NDepends producing the xml output file.  Lots of people have been having the same problem.  So i use 1.3.3 and target 1.1 for now until the latest version is fixed.  It works for some people and not others.  Unfortunately, I'm one of the others.

cs,

Follow this link for another link from which to download the CI.Zip file, which is everything you need to setup the CI server.
